An ordinary raw stone needs to be carefully surveyed, studied, planned and polished by experts before turning into a shining gem. We believe that every student is a unique gem ready to shine and, achieve a “Flourishing Life”, a term coined by Martin Seligman, the father of positive psychology.
Teachers at Tsoi Kung Po help students learn how to think out of the box by giving them specific and accurate feedback as well as guiding them to develop a growth mindset. Students are also encouraged to keep trying and taking on challenges. Through our school-based six-year character education strategy, students can explore and cultivate their character strengths. Family and Life Education is also provided as a subject for junior secondary students to learn positive psychology as part of the formal curriculum.
